Louise Santonelli

Louise Santonelli , 98, a Wakefield resident for over 90 years, died on Thursday, May 19 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Long Island, N.Y on January 6, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Philamena Romano.

During the Depression Mrs. Santonelli had worked at the family grocery store on Columbia Rd. in Wakefield. She was devoted to her family.

Mrs. Santonelli was the wife of the late Guido Santonelli . She was the mother of Guido Santonelli Jr. of Rockport, Robert Santonelli of Lynnfield, and Steven Santonelli of Tampa, FL and the sister of Peter Romano of Stoneham. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.
