M. O'Brien

M. Patricia O'Brien, age 83 of Stoneham died Wednesday January 8 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born in Boston, MA on September 18, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Mildred (Jamieson) McCluskey. She was raised in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Most Blessed Sacrament High School in Jamaica Plain and later from the Catherine Laboure School of Nursing of Boston. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse for several Boston area hospitals until her retirement. She was also a cancer survivor.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. O'Brien. She was the loving mother of Karen P. Hinchey of Wakefield and Michael T. O'Brien of Stoneham. She was the devoted sister of Joseph P. McCluskey and his wife Louise of Cape Cod, Sheila Sorentino and her husband Pat, Carole McCormack and husband John, Donna Frey and her husband Francis and Mary Kay McLaughlin and her husband John all of Scituate and Barbara Hill and her husband Christopher of TN. She was the loving "Nana" to Rachel, Max, and Jake Hinchey and TJ O'Brien. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main Street Wakefield on Saturday, January 11th at 11AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
