Marcie Kennedy

Marcie A . Kennedy , 38, of Lynnfield, died on Friday June 16 July at her home.

Born in Lynn on January 29, 1972 she was the daughter of Francis P. and Patricia A . (Brennan) Poska of Lynn.

Marcie was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She was also a graduate of Bentley College and had earned a master's degree from Northeastern University. Marcie worked in the software industry and was an Adjunct Professor at Salem State College.

Marcie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her spirit and kindness touched all who knew her.

In addition to her parents Marcie is survived by her husband, Matthew B. Kennedy , her children, Owen Kennedy , age 7 and Maeve Kennedy , age 4 of Lynnfield and three brothers, Matthew Poska of Swampscott, Andrew Poska of IL and Christopher Poska of Dedham.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3-7 p.m. Private interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
