Margaret J. Driscoll, 91, of Stoneham, died Saturday, October 5 at her home in Stoneham.
Born in Everett on May 23, 1922 the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Evelyn S. (Kennedy) Kelley.
Mrs. Driscoll was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Cheverus High School and later from Salem State College. She taught at the Maplewood Elementary School of Malden and had also taught in Maine. She had been a Stoneham resident since 1960 and was a member of St. Patrick Church. She was a volunteer for EMARC.
Mrs. Driscoll was the beloved wife of the late John E. Driscoll. She was the loving mother of John E. Driscoll and his wife Kathleen of Melrose, Patricia E. Driscoll of Stoneham, Jane M. Driscoll and Joseph E. Driscoll and wife Sirirat all of NH. She was the sister of Eileen Kelley of Reading and the late Rev. J. Joseph Kelley, Sr. Evelyn Kelley and Sr. Eileen Ann Kelley. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Caitlin Clark and husband Andrew, and Megan, Sean and Alyssa Driscoll. Also her great grandson Nicholas Clark.
