Margaret O'Donnell

Margaret F . O'Donnell , 90, of Danvers died on Monday, May 31 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Boston on December 10, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude (O'Leary) Walsh.

Mrs. O'Donnell was a graduate of Boston High School. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Sears Roebuck until her retirement in 1978.

Mrs. O'Donnell had been a Wakefield resident from 1968 until 1978 and also a longtime resident of Clearwater, FL.

Mrs. O'Donnell was the wife of the late George W. O'Donnell . She was the mother of Edward O'Donnell of Lowell, Robert O'Donnell and his wife Robin of Peabody, and Keith O'Donnell of Southbury, CT. She was the sister of Gertrude White of Stoneham and the late Blanche Morrisey and Eileen O'Dean. She was the grandmother of Kathleen Toner and her husband Bob, Kelly McMinis, George O'Donnell , Capt. Eric O'Donnell serving in the US Army, and Robert O'Donnell and the great grandmother of Ruby and Bryce. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
