Margaret Cefalo

Margaret H . Cefalo of Stoneham, age 88 died Monday September 1 after a lengthy illness. Born in Boston on February 9, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Ciampa) Selvitella. Mrs. Cefalo was raised in Boston and later lived in Medford for many years. She was retired from the City of Medford Public School Department. She had been a Stoneham resident for more than 20 years and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Cefaalo was the wife of the late Louis G. Cefalo . She was the mother of Linda M. Barry and husband James of Abington, Patricia A. Vienneau & husband Gary of Salem, NH and Gail. M. Fornaciari & husband Christopher of Framingham. She was the sister of Sue Roy of Revere and the late Henry, Joseph, James, George, Vera and Helen Selvitella, Sadie DeStefano and Mary Ward. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lauren, Sara, Jacqueline and Christina. She is pre-deceased by her late grandchildren LeighAnn and Michael Christopher.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Friday at 11:00. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM. Private interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
