Margaret Harder

Margaret C. "Maggie" Harder, 53, of Wakefield formerly of Reading died on Friday, December 5 in Laconia, N.H. after a lengthy illness.

Born in Waterbury, CT on December 30, 1954, she was the daughter of Stella M. (Procurot) Zitzow of Reading and the late William A. Zitzow.

Maggie was raised in Reading and was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School, Class of 1972. She worked in various positions in shipping/receiving. She was a loyal and dedicated GE and Ametek Aerospace employee for over 30 years.

Maggie was a sun worshipper, loved walking, the beach, traveling, the color pink, and especially her "kitty".

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother Warren A. Zitzow of NH, Cheryl Burrows of Reading, Paula Zitzow of Salisbury, and Ann Galante of Wakefield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and will be dearly missed by her beloved partner Tony Longo and her kitty "sugar".

Her memorial service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 PM.
