Margaret Mulroney

Margaret M . Mulroney , 88, of Lynnfield formerly of Wakefield died on Sunday, January 27 at her residence.

Born in Lynbrook, New York on March 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Margaret C. (Lane) Mulroney .

Mrs. Mulroney was a graduate of Malverne High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Fordham University and her Nursing Degree from St. Vincent's Nursing School in Manhattan. Mrs. Mulroney was a World War II Army Veteran, Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse's Corp.

She was the wife of the late William G. Mulroney , Jr. Mrs. Mulroney is survived by her 6 sons; William F. Mulroney and his wife Colleen of Ashton, MD, John P. Mulroney of Garrison, NY, Thomas J. Mulroney and his wife Mary Pat of Vienna, VA, Paul O. Mulroney and his wife Mary of W. Roxbury, Christopher Mulroney and his wife Mary Margaret of Hopedale, Matthew G. Mulroney and his wife Cecily of Weymouth, her two daughters; Mary E. McLemore and her husband Dan of Lynnfield and Alice R. Sherwood and her husband Christopher of Laramie, WY, her brother John Mach of South Carolina and her sister Alice Stickell of Oregon. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; Paul, Julia, Mary Kate, Matthew, Paul, Patrick, Owen, Madeleine, Mary Alice and Thomas.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Salem and Grove Sts., Lynnfield on Friday at 12pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield prior to the Mass starting at 9am.
