Margaret Miller

Margaret P. "Marge" Miller, 74 of Wakefield died on Saturday, June 25 at her residence.

Born in Boston on September 22, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Marguerite (O'Brien) Leary.

Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Fitten Central High School in East Boston and from secretarial school. She held several secretarial and executive assistant positions in the aerospace industries including General Precision and Martin Marietta. She also assisted her husband as Admittance Officer for the US Air Force Academy in Massachusetts and as the owner of a Public Accounting business. In her younger years she was active in the Greenwood Junior Women's Club.

Mrs. Miller leaves her husband William Miller, her sisters, Ann Caristo and Maureen MacKay, her brother James Leary and her sister-in-law, Janet Flanagan. She also leaves many nieces and nephews in the Caristo, MacKay, D'Avolio, Morgan and Flanagan families.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8p.m.

Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
