Margaret M. Patch, a longtime Wakefield resident and native of Medford died December 22, 2023 in Melrose, MA. She was 88 years of age.

She was born in Medford on July 31,1935 and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margery (Dougherty) Dolan.

Margaret was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Cheverus Girls High School of Malden. She was retired from the former Addison Wesley Publishing Company of Reading. She had been a member of Saint Joseph Church and a member of the former Mothers Club of Saint Joseph. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Louis R. Patch. She was the loving mother of Kate Farnham and her companion Robert Tarani of Woburn, Thomas Patch and wife Barbara of No. Reading, Marji Zambrano and husband Blaise of SC and Kevin Patch of Wakefield. She was the sister of Kathleen Brien, James Dolan and the late Thomas Dolan. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by Keegan Farnham. 

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 173 Albion Street, Wakefield Friday, January 5 at 10:00. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield on Thursday, January 4 from 4-7pm.
