Margaret Sowyrda

Margaret A. Sowyrda , age 77 of Woburn, formerly of Stoneham, died on Sunday April 25th at her residence.

She was born in East Hartford, CT on April 15, 1944 and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Burnham) Murphy.

She was the loving mother of Eric Sowyrda and his wife Lisanne of Stoneham, and the late Scott Sowyrda and his surviving wife Lisa of Wakefield. She was the beloved grandmother of Matthew, Kyle, Jake, Ava and Cole. Margaret was the sister of the late Robert Murphy and his wife Kathy of New York, John and his wife Donna of New York, and the late Thomas of Maine. She is also survived by her sister in law Jean of Pennsylvania as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St. Stoneham on Wednesday, May 5th from 4-6:30 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the funeral home following the visiting hours beginning at 6:30 p.m.
