A resident of Wakefield for most of her life, Marguerite Ann (MacLellan) Brown died peacefully, surrounded by family, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
The second child of Robert and Florence (Berry) MacLellan, Marguerite attended Wakefield High School, Class of 1948. During her high school years Marguerite enjoyed being a Wakefield Warriors cheerleader and made many life long friendships.
After graduation, Marguerite married Lawrence Clifton Brown and they raised 5 children, Larry, Karen, Kathleen, Maureen, and Michelle.
Marguerite is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Larry Jr., her big sister Kathleen (King), and her little brother Robert.
Marguerite is survived and will be dearly missed by daughters Karen (Azza), Kathleen (Fahey), Maureen (Geddis) and Michelle, grandchildren Michael Azza, Christopher Brown, Sarah and Karen Fahey, and Laura Brown, son-in-laws Mark Azza, Paul Fahey, and Roger Geddis, daughter-in-law Rosemary (Dixon) Brown, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
