Maria Rosatone

Maria G . Rosatone , 96 of Lynnfield died at her home on Monday October 11.

Born in Bovalino Marina, Italy April 28,1925 she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Carmela (Blefari) Zappavigna.

Maria immigrated to the United States in 1947. She moved to Revere in the 1950's and eventually made her home in Lynnfield in 1973. She met her husband Antonio when she was working as a seamstress in Somerville. Maria loved to cook and walk her dogs around Lynnfield.

Maria was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Rosatone . She was the loving mother of John Rosatone of Lynnfield and Anthony Rosatone of Malden. Sister of the late Dominic, Vincent, Rosalina, and Concetta Zappavigna. Sister in-law of the late Ines Moquin of Lynn, and Nancy Rizzo and her husband Bill of Medford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 17 Grove St., Lynnfield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Monday from 4-7 p.m.

Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield.
