Marie Casagrandi

Marie C. Casagrandi, 100, of Stoneham died Tuesday August 16 at her home. Born in Mundare Alberta, Canada on June 7, 1911 she was the daughter of the late Michael & Katherine (Gulevich) Stepchuk.

Mrs. Casagrandi was raised in Canada and had been a Stoneham resident since 1954. She worked for many years for the First Congregational Church of Stoneham and was a long time member of St. Patrick Church.

Mrs. Casagrandi was the wife of the late Angiolino Casagrandi. She was the mother of Robert J. Casagrandi, Michele Casagrandi and Roberta M. Knight all of Stoneham. She was also the grandmother of Christopher Knight and the aunt of many nieces and nephews of Western Canada.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 9 o'clock. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Sandwich. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
