Marie T. Cersosimo, 82, of Wakefield, passed away at her home on Friday March 13, 2009 following a battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Born in Boston on February 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Orlando and Theresa (LaBollita) Juliano.
Mrs. Cersosimo was raised in Dorchester and was a graduate of the Jeremiah E. Burke High School, class of 1944. After high school, she had worked for John Hancock Insurance in Boston as a Clerk. Mrs. Cersosimo was a Long- time member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield and was also a member of the St. Joseph's Mothers' Club. Marie had also worked for her husband's business (Central Plumbing & Heating) in Wakefield.
Mrs. Cersosimo was the wife of the late John D. Cersosimo. She is survived by their children Janet M. McLean of Chandler, AZ., Diane J. Modahl of Beverly John J. Cersosimo, Paul D. Cersosimo, both of Wakefield and Carol E. Ducey of Tewksbury. Marie was the sister of Michael G. Juliano of Dorchester, Elaine Grant of Matapoisett and the late Madeline Spinelli and Norma Tobin. She is also survived by her 13 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Tues. at 9 AM Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 – 8 P.M.
