Bernice led a simple life; she was a dedicated mother, wife, and grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family, helping others in any way possible, and danced into her later years. Even throughout her debilitating disease, she stayed quick witted.
The celebration of her life was held privately with the family. There are no calling hours. The family is planning to return some of her ashes back to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia; to be scattered amongst her family.
