Marie McLaughlin

Marie E. McLaughlin, 75 of Stoneham and formerly of Winchester died May 11 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center. She was born in Winchester on August 31, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Caroline (Vacca) Frongillo. Mrs. McLaughlin was raised in Winchester and was a graduate of Winchester High School. She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service and had been a Stoneham resident since 1960. She was The Queen of the "Red Hat Divas" of Stoneham and enjoyed Arts and Crafts.

Mrs. McLaughlin was the beloved wife of William G. McLaughlin, (Chief, Stoneham Fire Dept. Ret). She was the loving mother of William J. and Michael P. McLaughlin of Stoneham. She was the sister of Frank Frongillo and wife Gail of Middleton. She was the devoted grandmother of Christopher Mount of New Bedford, Sgt. Bryan McLaughlin, U.S. Army and wife Corie of Clarksville, TN and Sean McLaughlin and his girlfriend Alyssa Gerossie of Billerica. She was also the great grandmother of Suvi Lee and William Aaron McLaughlin of Clarksville, TN.

Her funeral will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham Thursday at 11:00. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
