Marie Pietrillo

Marie Pietrillo, 93, of Wakefield died Thursday July 16 at the Woodbriar of Wilmington.

Born in Revere on March 11, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Julio and Ricchetta (Vacca) Gnerre.

Mrs. Pietrillo was raised in Revere and had attended the Paul Revere School. She had been a Fabric Manager for the former J.J. Newberry's in Wakefield

Mrs. Pietrillo was the wife of the late Tony Pietrillo. She was the mother of Robert Pietrillo and his wife Jean of MA and Tona Riggio of Maryland. She was the sister of Anna Gnerre, Clementina Gnerre, and Julia Puliafico all of MA and the grandmother of Michael and Philip. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 11am. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday morning prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be at the Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 209 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906.
