Marie Moynihan

Marie T . Moynihan , 84, of Lynnfield, died on Monday, November 29 at the Lynn Union Hospital.

Born in Milford on October 21, 1926 she was the daughter of the late George and Theresa (O'Connell) Kilburn.

Marie was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Milford. She earned her BA degree in Sociology from Northeastern University.

Marie had been a Lynnfield resident since 1956 and was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield. She had also volunteered at the Lynn Union Hospital.

Mrs. Moynihan was the wife of the late Walter Moynihan . She was the mother of Dick Moynihan of Hampton, VA and David Moynihan and his wife Lia of Lynnfield and the sister of the late George and Ray Kilburn.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Grove & Salem Sts., Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
