Marilyn Davenport

Marilyn Anne Davenport , 78, of Saugus formerly of Lincoln, RI died on Wednesday, August 19 at the Courtyard in Medford.

Born in Malden on April 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Lawlor) Davenport .

Ms. Davenport had worked for many years as an Underwriter for Commerce Insurance Company of Lincoln, RI before her retirement.

Ms. Davenport is survived by many nieces & nephews, great &great great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Gertrude Davenport , Elizabeth L. Moran and Ruth Smith and her 3 brothers, James, Donald & Robert Davenport .

A Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Monday at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday prior to the mass from 9:30 to 11:00am. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
