Marilyn Burque

Marilyn Ann Burque , a resident of Lexington, died Monday, November 16, 2020, at the age 66, at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Beloved wife of David Joseph Burque and cherished mother of Kathryn Ann Burque Harris and her husband Fergus, Grandmother of Anastasia and Makayla Harris all of Norcross, Georgia; sister of Marcia Elliott of Malden, Louise McDonough Aiello of Melrose, Robert McDonough of Woburn, Thomas McDonough of Billerica and the late Kenneth McDonough of Malden Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Thelma McDonough of Malden.

Marilyn was born in Malden, graduated Malden High School in 1972 and graduated from Winthrop Hospital School of Practical Nursing to become a Coronary Care Unit nurse at Winthrop, Malden, Newton Wellesley Hospitals, and Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was a loving, nurturing, big-hearted person who loved to care for children and established a day care center while in Shrewsbury. Later on, she established a financial investment group known as LIPS, the Limited Investment Partnership of Shrewsbury. She enjoyed cooking, cake making, artistic painting, traveling to exotic locations and investment research endeavors in a stock club while in Chandler, Arizona.

Due to Covid-19, Funeral Services will be private. A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
