Marilyn Ciarletta

Mrs. Marilyn Ciarletta, age 91, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. Born August 22,1933, she was a lifelong resident of Wakefield. Loving wife of Joseph Leo Ciarletta with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. The daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Betty) Bitto Ohlson. Beloved mother of three children, Gail Ciampa Spear and her husband James Spear of NH, Dayle Ciampa-Goldstein and her husband Gary Goldstein of Middleton. She was predeceased by her loving son Harry Ciampa. Cherished grandmother of three grandchildren, Lisa Ciampa, Jimmy Ciampa, Richard Goldstein and one great-grandchild, Jimmy Ciampa Jr. Marilyn was predeceased by her sister Joan Madore, Sister-in-law of Paul Ciarletta, and predeceased by Michael Ciarletta.

Marilyn will be remembered for her warm heart, her joyful spirit, and her deep love of family. A true lover of life’s simple pleasures, she cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She found joy in country music and her unique talent for yodeling brought smiles to many. She also had a passion for ice skating, gracefully gliding across the ice with freedom that reflected her spirit. Marilyn was a faithful Christian Member of the Saugus Congregation of Jehovah Witness for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield MA, Monday, April 28, 2025, 9:30a.m.-11:00 a.m. A Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery Wakefield MA.
