Marilyn G . Hanley , 88, of Stoneham formerly of Medford died at her home on Tuesday July 20.
Born in Winchester, December 24, 1932 she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Feelan) McCall.
Marilyn was a graduate of Medford High School where she was the class Valedictorian. Marilyn loved to dance and shortly after graduating she moved to New York City and became one of the world famous Rockettes. She eventually moved back to Medford to raise her family and opened the Marilyn Hanley School of Dance.
She was the loving mother of Edward T. Hanley of Everett, Stephen E. Hanley of FL and the late Paul Hanley . Also survived by her granddaughter Stephanie.
Marilyn's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford on Saturday, July 24 at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday prior to the mass from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery Medford.
