Marilyn Duggan

Marilyn R . Duggan , 84, of Wakefield died on Friday, June 26 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Arlington on March 23, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Mooney) O'Brien.

Mrs. Duggan was raised in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School, Class of 1942. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1957 and was a member of St. Joseph parish.

Mrs. Duggan was the wife of Leonard J. Duggan . She was the mother of Gail Gessler and her husband Norm of Andover and sister of Joseph O'Brien and his wife Virginia of Lincoln, Mary Bickerstaffe and her husband Dan of Alton Bay, NH, Helen Wright of Millis and Claire O'Brien of TX.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield, on Wednesday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
