Marion Rose

Marion D . (Gillen) Rose , 91, of Reading, formally of Seal Beach/South Pasadena CA, died on Friday, January 16 at the Alberjona Nursing Home in Winchester.

Mrs. Rose was raised in Boston. She was a Sergeant in the Woman's Air Corp during WWII stationed in Labrador. She was a retired legal secretary.

Mrs. Rose was an avid world traveler and enjoyed reading and writing.

She was the wife of the late Leonard Rose with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. She was the sister-in-law of Anthony Rose of Wilmington and Francis Rose of Reading. Mrs. Rose is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading on Friday at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Glen Cemetery in Reading.
