Marion English

Marion E. English, 87, of Stoneham died on Wednesday, November 4 at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in North Andover.

Born in Medford on July 24, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Marion (Smith) Dunn.

Mrs. English was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1940. She was a member of St. Patrick Church and Stoneham. She was also a member of the 60+ Club, the 209 Club and St. Patrick Mother's Club.

Mrs. English was the wife of the late William English. She was the mother of Michael Middlebrook of Groton, William English and his wife Barbara of Salem, Patricia A. Moriarty and her husband Donald of North Andover, Kathleen Stickney and her husband Donald of Auburn, ME and Joanne Johnson and her husband Richard of Dunbarton NH. She was the sister of Edward F. Dunn Jr. of Stoneham, Rita Ferguson of FL, Alice Snipes of GA and the late Charles Dunn and Gertrude Cormier. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St. Stoneham on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St, Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Sunday 1-4 p.m. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
