Marion McCarthy

Marion M . McCarthy , 83, of Wakefield died Sunday February 12 in Melrose after a period of failing health.

Born in Boston on August 16, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Kathleen (Hogan) Bath.

Mrs. McCarthy was raised in Chelsea and Providence, Rhode Island and had been a Wakefield resident for many years.

Mrs. McCarthy was the wife of the late Dr. John T. McCarthy . She was the mother Robert J. McCarthy and Maureen McCarthy both of New Hampshire and John T. McCarthy and Eileen McCarthy both of Wakefield. She is also survived by her grandson John T. McCarthy III.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
