Marion Stone

Marion E. Stone, 89, of Tewksbury, formerly of Stoneham, died on Saturday, December 19th, at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.

Born in Danielson, Connecticut on October 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Abbie (Nelson) Davis.

Mrs. Stone was a graduate of Killingly High School. She was a longtime employee of Precision Metal Products where she worked as an inside sales representative. Mrs. Stone was a Hospice volunteer for VNA Middlesex East for seven years and a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Lake Como in Italy and Kennebunkport in Maine. Mrs. Stone loved her family and friends, arts & crafts, stained glass and cooking.

She was the wife of the late Philip J. Stone. She is survived by her son David Stone and his fiancée Corinne Cronin of W. Peabody and her daughter Christine Feehan and her husband Thomas of Milford, NH, her two grandchildren; Denielle Babey and her husband George of Littleton and Philip Stone of Andover and her two great grandsons; Henry and Benjamin Babey. Mrs. Stone was predeceased by her daughter Phyllis Stone and her brother Donald Davis.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday, December 29th, at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 28th, from 4-7pm. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
