Marjorie Parker

Marjorie B . Parker , 94, a long time Wakefield resident passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Born in Wakefield on May 4, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Scott A. and Charlotte (Woods) Bullard.

Mrs. Parker was an English teacher at the Lancaster Academy in Lancaster, N.H. for many years and had also worked as a children's Librarian at the Saugus Public Library. She had also been a member of the First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield.

Mrs. Parker was the wife of Mr. Robert E. Parker , with whom she was married for 70 years. She is survived by their sons: Bruce Parker of North Andover, Keith Parker and his wife Diana of Framingham and Robert W. Parker and his wife Linda of Salem, NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lauren Parker , Jennifer Spencer and Jason Parker . Mrs. Parker was predeceased by her brother Scott Bullard formerly of Exeter, NH.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, on Friday at 1 PM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 – 8 PM.
