Marjorie Hallahan

Marjorie V. (Doucette) Hallahan, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, November 17 at her son's home in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

Born in Wakefield on August 16, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Laura(Doucette) Malonson.

Mrs. Hallahan was raised in Wakefield and was a former longtime employee of Paul K. Guillows in Wakefield.

She was the mother of Ronald R. Doucette and his wife Carol of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Gary W. Doucette and his wife Lisa of Nottingham, NH, Cheryl A. Egli and her husband Paul of Salem, NH and the late Richard A Doucette. She was the sister of the late Margaret Doucette, Alice Muse and Edward and Catherine Malonson. She was the grandmother of Tammy, Matthew, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas and Sheri-Lee Doucette and Adam and Joshua Egli and great grandmother of Joseph Doucette and Jared Gondalez.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 3 p.m. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 12 to 3 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 U.S. Rte. 1, Scarborough, ME 04074 or to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118-2404.
