Marjorie M. Kelley, 84, of Somerville died on Monday, December 23 at her residence.
Born in Cambridge on July 3, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Catherine (Reardon) Scannell.
Mrs. Kelley was a graduate of Cambridge High School. She volunteered at the Somerville Senior Center and at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Gift Shop. Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Lawrence Memorial Ladies Auxiliary.
She was the wife of the late Francis P. Kelley. Mrs. Kelley is survived by her five children; Kathleen Marino and her husband James of Wakefield, Paul F. Kelley and his wife Deborah of Stoneham, Anne F. Basile and her husband Robert of Bedford, Sean G. Kelley and his wife Karen of Burlington and Judy M. Sousa and her husband Fred of Somerville. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and her 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Kelley was predeceased by her daughter Marjorie Prindle.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
