Marjorie Muse

Marjorie Ann Muse , 85 of Augusta, ME died peacefully Friday June 3, at the Augusta Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Augusta, ME with her family at her side.

Born in Melrose, July 8, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Dorothy (Gilker) Muse .

Marjorie was raised and educated in Melrose. She moved to Lawrence in the 1950's where she raised her family. Marjorie retired from the City of Lawrence where she had worked as a City Clerk. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She was the loving mother of Joseph F. DeSisto and his wife Lynda of Salem, NH, Bernadette Beeney and her husband Richard of Waterville, ME, Mary Ann Blaser of Hampton, NH, Richard P. DeSisto of Salem, NH, Rita Dearborn and her husband Lawrence of Richmond, ME, and Robin Arsenault and her husband Dean of Methuen. She was the sister of Virginia Novello of Methuen, Louise Funicella of Melrose, Janice LaRoche of Medford, and Joseph Muse , Jr. of Haverhill. She is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and ten great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service beginning at 9am.
