Marjorie E. Roberts, 92, of Wakefield died on Tuesday, September 25 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Boston on July 28, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Lucas) Pierce.

Marjorie was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1936. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1947 and was an active member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Marjorie was a retired secretary for Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She enjoyed exercising, sewing, playing the organ and cooking.

Majorie was the wife of the late Wilfred C. Roberts. She was the mother of Sandra Roberts of Estero, FL, Linda Russo and her husband Robert of North Reading, Cheryl Rocco and her husband Anthony of Bartlett, NH and Randy Roberts and his wife Joanne of Eliot, ME. She was the sister of Mary Atkins of North Reading and the late Clarence "Bucky" Pierce and Virginia Velmure. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lisa, Nicole, Vanessa, Zachary, Jackson and Lindsey and great grandchildren, Alanna and Brandon.

A funeral service will be held in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5 Bryant St., Wakefield on Monday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
