Mark A. DeVito, 50 of Florida and formerly of Wakefield died in Florida on November 13.
Born in Somerville, MA on January 30. 1962 he was the son of Maryann F. (Vultaggio) DeVito of Wakefield and the late Patrick A. DeVito.
Mr. DeVito was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1980. He was Manager of the Wakefield High School Boys Soccer Team while at Wakefield High School. Mr. DeVito was a long time resident of Florida and had lived in both Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa. At the time of his death he was employed as a truck driver for U.S. Express where he had worked for 17 years.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother Darren A. DeVito and his wife Jennifer of Wakefield, his sister Lisa A. Forester and her husband Paul of Georgetown and his four loving nephews; Anthony and Domenic DeVito and Ryan and Benjamin Forester.
Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., in Wakefield at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
