Martha Buono

Martha A. Buono, age 79 of Stoneham, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday January 4 at her residence.

She was born in Winthrop on October 3, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Winter) Prybylo.

Martha was born and raised in Winthrop and was a graduate of Winthrop High School. She had been a Stoneham residence since 1976. She was a 25 year employee of C.D.I. company in Melrose. She enjoyed her weekly Saturday night get togethers with “The Girls.”

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Buono. She was the loving mother of Robert S. Buono and his wife Deborah of Florida, and Cheryl Buono of Bedford. She was the grandmother of Trevor, Paige, Stephanie, and Kristian. Martha is also survived by her great grandson Dominic, and her longtime companion Steve Moore.

Funeral Service to be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday January 10 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 10-12. Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
