Gregory
, 82, of Scarborough, Maine, formerly of Concord, Wellesley and Melrose died on Wednesday, January 11 at the Maine Medical Hospital in Portland Maine.
Born in Wakefield on October 12, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Arthur M. and Mary E. (Shaw) Dignan.
Mrs.
Gregory
was raised in Melrose and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Melrose, Class of 1947 and Emmanuel College in Boston, Class of 1951. She had worked at Ropes & Gray Law Offices in Boston, Boston College and Sun Life Company. Mrs.
Gregory
had summered in Ipswich at Little Neck.
She is survived by her daughter Mary

and her husband Jack of Holliston, her two sons; Edward A.
Gregory
and his wife Maura of Concord and Kip
Gregory
and his wife Donna of Washington D.C., her three sisters; Cynthia Dignan, Judy Dignan and Ruth Dignan all of Maine. Mrs.
Gregory
is also survived by her six grandchildren; Garrett, Catherine, Thomas, Jack, Julia and Caroline
Gregory
. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Dignan and her brother Robert Dignan.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday (today) from 4-8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Stoneham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Charities, 51 Sleeper St, Boston, MA 02210.
