Mary Steadman

Mary B . Steadman , 90, of Wakefield died on Friday, September 17 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Chelsea on February 6, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Foucher) Baril.

Mrs. Steadman was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She had worked for the A& P Stores for 25 years and also for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Mrs. Steadman was the wife of the late Henry D. "Hank" Steadman . She is survived by her son, Henry J. Steadman of Delmar, NY, her daughter, Virginia Hale of Wakefield, and a sister, Theresa Smith of CT. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion, St., Wakefield on Monday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
