Mary Conant

Mary C . Conant , 61, of Wallingford, CT, formerly of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, January 12 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Winchester on April 27, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Cotter) Murphy.

Mrs. Conant was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1966, Kent State University in Ohio and Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing in Boston. She was the Nursing Director at the University Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in New Haven, CT.

Mrs. Conant is survived by her son, Michael A. Conant of Wallingford, CT, her sister Dolores McManus and her husband Paul of Lexington and her grandson Jaydon Conant . She is also survived by her two nieces, Jacqueline McManus and Kara McManus Pagliuca.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Saturday, January 16 at 10 a.m. There are no calling hours. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
