Mary Cameron

Mary C. Cameron, 84, of Pompano Beach, FL a former Wakefield resident died in Florida on September 22.

Born in Wakefield on December 5, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Edward & Katherine (Galvin) Cronin.

Mrs. Cameron was raised in Wakefield and a graduate of Wakefield High School. She worked for many years for the Kendall Corporation of Lexington. She had been a member of Saint Florence Church and was a member the Ladies Sodality of the church and the Legion of Mary. She had been a Pompano resident for the past 20 years

Mrs. Cameron was the wife of the late William Cameron. She is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Binnig of Wakefield and Katherine Cameron and Judith Sheppard both of Pompano Beach. She is also survived by her sister Eleanor Heinricher of Foxboro. She was the grandmother of Kurt & Karlee Binig and Scott & Kaitlyn Sheppard and the great grandmother of Madison & Megan. She is pre-deceased by sisters, Ruth Finlay, Margaret McInnis and Barbara Richardson and her brother John Cronin.

Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Friday beginning at 9 AM to be followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. at 11:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
