Mary E. Cassa, 58, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and formerly Wakefield, passed away Sunday, July 4.
Born in Wakefield on January 23, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Casey) O'Toole.
Mrs. Cassa had been a resident of Palm Beach Gardens since 2001 and was a member of St. Paul of the Cross. She was an avid reader, card player, a volunteer at the Benjamin School and a loving grandmother.
Mrs. Cassa was the wife of Thomas Cassa of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was the mother of Michael Cassa, Scott Cassa and his wife Holly all of Nashua, NH and Christopher Cassa of Stuart, FL. She is survived by her granddaughter Therese Cassa. Mary was the sister of William O'Toole of Wakefield and Anne Wilson and her husband Tom of Petaluma, CA.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, on Friday July 9 at 9 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. at 10 o'clock. Visitation will be held from the funeral home on Thursday from 4 – 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA. 01701
