Mary Mclaughlin

Mary E . McLaughlin , 71, a resident of Lynnfield for 38 years, died on Thursday November 19 at the Peabody Glen Healthcare Center.

Born in Arlington on January 11, 1938 she was the daughter of the late James and Irene (Flynn) Barry.

Mrs. McLaughlin was raised in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Medford and St. Maria Goretti Church in Lynnfield. She also enjoyed playing bingo.

Mrs. McLaughlin is survived by her husband Herbert McLaughlin , her two sons, Clifford McLaughlin of Methuen and William McLaughlin of Norton, her daughter Linda Clem of MO, two brothers, James Barry of FL and Lawrence Barry of Lynnfield and two sisters Beverly Burke of Methuen and Jacqueline White of Arlington. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.


Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tues at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Mon from 4 – 8 PM. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
