, 103, a life long resident of Wakefield, died on Thursday, December 18 at Ledgewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly.
Born in Baltimore, MD on July 12, 1905, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Florence (Johnston) Garrett.
Mrs.
Landrigan
was educated in Baltimore, MD. During World War II she worked with the telephone Company in Boston. She sang and played piano for radio stations in Boston during the early 1930's.
Mrs.
Landrigan
was an avid gardener, past president of the Wakefield Garden Club and active in many civic organizations throughout her life.
She was the wife of the late George C.

. She was the mother of Capt. George E.
Landrigan
, USMM & wife Jean of Lynnfield, Irene
Landrigan
Taylor of New Braunfels, TX & the late Col. James M.
Landrigan
, USMC. She was the sister of June Howard of OH and the late Irene Locke. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Charles McManuis of Moreno Valley, CA, Karen McManuis of San Antonio, TX, Lee Usher of Dumphries, VA and Laura Quill of Gloucester and the late Lt. Jay M.
Landrigan
, USMC. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Monday Dec. 29 at 1:00. PM. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:00 A.M.
