Mary Meuse

Mary Elizabeth Meuse , 92, a life long resident of Wakefield, died on Sunday May 1 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.

Born in Wakefield on July 7, 1918 she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Rose Clara (LeBlanc) Meuse .

Miss Meuse was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1935. She was employed as a secretary at Employees Liability in Boston before her retirement in 1980. Miss Meuse was a former member of the Junior Catholic and Catholic Club and the Wakefield Senior Citizen's Drop in Center.

Miss Meuse was the sister of Dorothy Meuse and Lorette Meuse of Wakefield and the late John J. Meuse , Jr. and Josephine D'Entremont.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:30 a.m. A period of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
