Mary Goward

Mary F . Trainor-Goward, 89, of Wakefield formerly of Somerville died on Thursday, July 12 at her residence.

Born on September 11, 1922 she was the daughter of the late James J. and Nora (Moran) Carroll.

Mrs. Goward was raised and educated in Somerville. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 7 years. Mrs. Coward had retired in 1985 as a parking clerk at the Somerville Court House.

She was the wife of the late George L. Goward and John H. Trainor. Mother of Brian Trainor and his wife Kathy of Sailsbury, Brendon Trainor and his wife Betty of Malden and the late John H. and Kevin W. Trainor. Sister of James Carroll of Chelsea. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Her funeral mass will held at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 11:30am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday 9-11am. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
