Mary Donovan

M. Frances Donovan , 85, of Albuquerque, NM and formerly of W. Peabody died on Tuesday, September 27 at the Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque.

Born in Boston on August 20, 1926 she was the daughter of the late James and Loretta C. (Doherty) Lennon.

Mrs. Donovan was raised in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. She was a long time resident of W. Peabody. She had worked at Donovan Real Estate in Peabody and had retired from Verizon.

Mrs. Donovan was the wife of the late Robert J. Donovan . She was the mother of Barry J. Donovan of Beverly, Kerry K.G. Donovan of Pasadena, CA and Mazatlan, Mexico and Clare F. Donovan of Albuquerque, NM. She was the sister of the late James R. Lennon & Patricia Connolly and the grandmother of Craig and Alissa.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St. W. Peabody at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
