Mary Brady

Mary L . "Bebe" Brady , 77, a 50 year resident of Lynnfield died at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Wednesday April 17th.

Born in Boston on June 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Louise (Gaffney) Gannon.

Mrs. Brady was raised in Winthrop and was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy in Brighton and also Regis College. She had taught school for the city of Lynn. Mrs. Brady had been a member of the Salem Country Club, the League of Women Voters and was also active with Catholic Charities.

Mrs. Brady was the wife of the late Honorable Peter F. Brady . She was the mother of Atty. Peter F. Brady , Jr. and Tara L . Brooks and her husband Gordon, all of Lynnfield and Atty. Brian W. Brady and his wife Julie of Belmont. She was the sister of John Gannon of Norton and the late Elaine Sikes, Claire Molloy and William and Thomas Gannon. She was the grandmother of Andrew and Ashton Brady , Liana and Eliza Brooks and Marykate, Brian and John Brady . She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, on the corner of Grove and Salem Sts. in Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Monday from 4 – 8 p.m.

Interment will be at Willow Cemetery in Lynnfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
