Mary O'Keefe

Mary L . O'Keefe , 89, of Wakefield a life long resident here died March 21 in Winchester.

Born in Wakefield on May 6, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Louis & Celia (Gravelese) Tecce.

Mrs. O'Keefe was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1939. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and past member of the St. Joseph Church Mother's Club. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed following the sporting activities of her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. O'Keefe was the wife of the late Brendan T. O'Keefe . She was the mother of Patrick J. O'Keefe and his wife Patty of Wakefield, Esther M. MacDonald of Chelmsford and the late Colin, Jr. and Michelle Theriault and husband Allen of Wakefield and the late Matthew B. O'Keefe and Brenda M. O'Keefe . She was the sister of the late John, Joseph, Louis, Gus and Michael Tecce, Dorothy Raulston, Phyllis Ross, Esther Shovone, Lena Shea & Rose Tecce. She was the grandmother Brendan, Connor, & Kathleen O'Keefe , Colin, Kaley & Kerry MacDonald, Shawn & Amy Theriault, Matthew O'Keefe Audrey Batista-Viera, McKenzie O'Keefe & the late Carolyn Kane & Ryan Theriault. Also survived by her 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Beth O'Keefe .

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield of Friday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
