Mary Lambert

Mary T. Lambert, 84 of Lowell and formerly of Wakefield died Thursday May 3 in Lowell. Born in Waltham on August 5, 1927 the daughter of the late Arthur & Elizabeth (Gifford) Frappier. Mrs. Lambert was raised in Saugus and had also lived in Wakefield before making her home in Lowell. She worked as a waitress in the area for many years at the well known Hilltop Steak House, Durgin Park of Boston and Johnny Rockets and also for the MA/Com Corporation of Burlington and most recently at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford.

Mrs. Lambert was the wife of Roger G. Lambert of Lowell and the late Albert R.Cranshaw. She was the mother of Alma E. Mattucci and husband Tony of ME, Ronald D. Cranshaw and wife Donna of NH, Debra J. Greenfield & husband Ben of WA and Therese M. Matthews and husband Richard of Billerica and the late Arthur G. Cranshaw and his wife Joanne. She was the sister of Francis Frappier of NH and was predeceased by several other siblings. She was the loving grandmother of Mellissa, James, Jesse, Janessa, Joshua, Jason, Clay, Robbie, Clayton, Michelle, Johnny and the late Ron Jr. and great grandmother of Zoe, Sam, Jason, Andrew, Brenan and Devin. She was the aunt of Sandy, Bill, MaryEllen and other nieces and nephews as well numerous other members of her large extended family.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park 185 Lake St. Peabody on Monday at 11:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Sunday from 1-5 PM.

Memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Merrimac Valley Hospice 360 Merrimack St. Lawrence, MA 01843
