Mary Calvo

Mary M . Calvo of Saugus, age 95 died Monday December 28 in Melrose. Born on December 13, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Lucia (Genovese) Martelli. Mrs.Calvo was raised in Revere and attended Revere public schools. She had been a Saugus resident since 1958 and she enjoyed cooking for her family.

Mrs. Calvo was the wife of the late Cy Calvo . She is survived by her son Paul A. Calvo & his wife Nancy of No. Andover. Her grandchildren, Paul, Joseph, Jennifer, & Kristen Calvo . She was the sister of Albert Martelli of Framingham, Helen Dittmer of Saugus and the late Dominic, Louis, Emmanuel and the late Joseph Martelli and Anna Zollo.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Thursday at 10:30 am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 11:30. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8 pm. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery Wakefield.
