Mary Nicastro

Mary Nicastro of Stoneham, formerly of East Boston died at her home on Thursday April 30.

Born in Charlestown, September 3, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Hopkins) Domenicis.

Mary was raised and educated in Medford. She was a former employee of Jordan Marsh. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed holding her grandchildren and great grandchildren when they were babies. In her spare time she enjoyed Bingo, and traveling to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco Nicastro . She was the loving mother of Anne Corvino and her husband Joseph of Chandler, AZ, Marie LaPage of East Boston, and Louise N. Mazzola and her husband Ciro of Stoneham. She was the sister of the late Irene Siekman, Eleanor O'Brien, and Charles Domenicis. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jeff, Scott, Glenn, William, Jennifer, Maria, Joshua, and Ciro, Jr. and great grandchildren: Sebastian, Logan, Maya, Landon, Lincoln, and Jace.

Her funeral services will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
